We proudly offer certified home compostable single-use cups by Compostable Alternatives. Both the cups and lids are compostable, breaking down with your scraps at home or even when buried outside in under 24 weeks! If composting isn't an option for you, bring them back to us, and we'll handle the composting. Don't have your Keep Cup and looking to be more sustainable? No worries! Borrow one from us through our expanding Mug Library and Return Program. Simply take a mug home, bring it back clean on your next visit!

While we can't offer this at every event yet due to our mobile setup, we're actively working on expanding it.

We very proud to be registered with Responsible Cafes and to have received a Gold Bean! 

Responsible Cafes was founded in 2013, as an initiative of the award-winning not-for-profit Responsible Runners. Collecting litter on our beaches each week, our group of volunteers wanted to tackle the issue of ocean pollution from its source and help reduce plastic waste from our oceans and neighbourhoods. One of the bright sparks in the group thought it would be a great idea to offer people a discount if they used their own cup… then another thought of placing them on a map… and Responsible Cafes was born!

At Little Frankie's Van, we're delighted to offer Alternative Dairy Co. oat, soy and almond milk, proudly Australian made  

While the packaging for these milks isn't recyclable just yet, we're committed to sustainability. Instead of discarding them after use, we give them a new life as carry trays! And when you're done, they can be placed in your landfill bin.

We eagerly await a future where we can recycle this packaging and further reduce our impact on the environment.

We have been with Silva Coffee Roasters since day 1!

There is a strong focus to contribute at a local level. They are committed to the local community and provide delicious, fresh coffee, local business partnerships, employment and community engagement. At a global level they source coffee from social and environmentally sustainable suppliers, supporting social improvement programs for coffee farmers and their communities, purchasing Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade certified coffee and ensuring a fair price is paid to the farmer when full price transparency is available.

We use their Bom Jesus single origin coffee which is grown by Husband and wife team Gabriel and Flavia, located in the Alta Mogiana region North of Sao Paulo.  In 2008, they launched GIME (The Intercity Games for the Environment), a project that aims to promote social and environmental responsibility and donates school supplies to the children of the coffee pickers from Franca and surrounding towns.  

The coffee bags that Silva package their coffee in is also home compostable!

Gippsland Jersey, prides itself on ensuring farmers are paid a fair price for milk, smashing the stigma of mental health, being kind to ourselves and others as well as delivering a great local Australian-made product. 

Not only are they Vic-owned and operated but they are constantly getting out into the community to support small businesses, mental health and raising awareness on responsible farming.

We are so lucky to be based on 8+ acres of bushland on Wurundjeri land. Which gives us so much potential to give back to the earth. At our home base, we have multiple compost bins and worm farms that enable us to correctly compost returned compostable coffee cups, coffee bags, bin liners, food waste and coffee grounds. 

Food waste is also given to our free-range chickens who are often found rummaging through the compost!

Once all the compost is broken down it is then used in our ever expanding garden to grow our food! Our future goal is to live fully off grid and from the land but we are still learning and it is a ever evolving journey and a labour of love and passion.

We have covered a lot above but there is still a little bit more we are passionate about!

 Leave No Trace, It means that we leave no negative trace on our environment, check for rubbish and leave nothing behind.

Supporting Local - this includes locally made products, events, programs and communities.
